Inspection of domestic servants, A.D.C’s; the H.E. ‘bodyguard’ the Bombay Light Horse. Bodyguard mounts and moves off. Governor Frederick Sykes and Lady Sykes in landau carriage. Procession passes Bori Bunder. Procession and inspection parade on the waterfront in Apollo Bunder area and in front of Gateway of India. ‘Their Excellencies embark in the launch ‘Diamond’ for the SS ‘Mooltan’. Scenes of various dignitaries. Individual farewells. Views over quayside and of ships and boats festively decorated. Launch ‘Diamond’ moves away. Bombay Flying Club joins in the salute fired by the ships of the Royal Indian marine. Three biplanes flying over. Views of Gateway of India.
