  2. Biographical notes written by Rule, including experience of passing through Amritsar immediately after Jallianwalla Bagh; raised labour battalion in 1941; loyalty of Anglo-Indian commissioned officers; Bengal famine-relief work; the Arakhan; the Santhals and regimental life; refugees. 1911-44.
