Xerox copies of letters written home to her mother from India by Lady Anderson when touring with her husband who was Settlement Officer for Muzaffargarh District, Punjab, just after they had been married. Describes the actual travelling on horse-back with camels, shooting duck (for the pot), the people they meet:, amusing incidents in camp life, all as a background to her husband’s work. Very vivid descriptions of the scenery and countryside.
