Mrs. Kamala V. Nimbkar, an American by birth, was a pioneer in the rehabilitation of the handicapped in India. In 1930 she married one of the first American-educated Indian engineers. She talks of Syed Husain’s lecture tour of America in the late ’20s, ashram life, Miraben (Slade), and Katherine Mayo’s book Mother India.
