Home Secretary and Private Secretary to the King of Nepal – History of Nepal and history of his own part in Nepalese Government affairs. During the Second World War he commanded a Nepali battalion supporting the British on the Burma front. After the war he was caught up in the revolutionary Independence Movement in Nepal. Because of his special training and qualities of character, he was useful to both pre- and post- palace revolutionary governments
